About
Currently based in San Francisco, CA.
I attended the University of Chicago for my undergraduate degree, where I studied Mathematics and English Literature. Afterward, I worked in interest rate risk consulting for nearly a decade, before moving to a real estate debt fund, where I tended to a portfolio of loans.
I also passed a couple exams to obtain my Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification through the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
Recently, I’ve been focusing my time on projects to explore how to build better systems with contemporary tools (specifically, using AI to automate and improve investment management and decision making). I’ve dabbled in organizational strategy, asset and portfolio management, structured finance, derivatives, and even ran an international arts and literature festival for a while. For me, my future lies in using my abilities to lead people through complex systems and evolving landscapes to improve performance and add transparency to the investment space.
Because of this, I’m also interested in the potential of digital assets (cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and NFTs) to transform institutional and retail investing.
